We’d like to thank Gabriel Mojay for his dedication as an Airmid Director (May 2019 – September 2021). Gabriel was instrumental in helping to spread awareness about the conservation and sustainability of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs), raising money for Airmid’s work with the Shipibo communities in Peru, and he was the powerhouse behind the inception of this newsletter.

We’d like to thank Anita James for her dedication as Airmid Research Director (July 2020 – July 2022). Anita was instrumental in sourcing research for our proposal and continuing work on the rosewood (Aniba rosaeodora) essential oil study in collaboration with Laboratoire Phytochemia. She also helped us bridge the gap between the world of aromatherapy and other industries that greatly rely on medicinal and aromatic plants. As an avid gardener and wild-harvest florist, Anita brought her knowledge about sustainable floristry to Airmid’s membership through a wonderful webinar and article for Green Telegram.

We’d like to thank Lidiane for her dedication as Airmid Ambassador of Brazil (September 2020 – January 2024). Lidiane Pelli Franco was instrumental to our work focused on rosewood (Aniba rosaeodora), and made many other invaluable contributions including delivering an insightful webinar and translating Airmid’s Biannual List into Brazilian Portuguese.
